The successful applicant will plan, organize and direct all activities in the accounting department and will assist in maintaining the general ledger as just a few of their responsibilities. In addition the applicant will train and learn all of our clients systems & procedures as well as direct a Staff Accountant. To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:
MUST HAVES:
· 4 + years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is a MUST!
· Previous supervisory or management experience
· A strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
· Experience with payables, receivables, payroll, general accounting
· Advanced experience with MS Excel
· Strong math skills are a Must! You will be required to complete a math test
PLUSES ++:
· A Bachelors Degree from a 4-year University is strongly preferred. An Associates Degree will be considered with extensive experience
