Description

TriHealth, a partnership of Bethesda and Good Samaritan Hospitals, is seeking PHARMACISTS for the positions listed below. Hospital experience is preferred, however, Pharmacists with retail experience are welcome.

 

PHARMACIST (#6935)--SIGN-ON-BONUS!

Bethesda North Hospital:  FT, days/evenings

 

Position is responsible for the filling and dispensing of medication orders including the proper handling, usage, and storage of drugs in the pharmacy.

 

*maintains standards set by the department and translates policies and procedures into the daily operation of the pharmacy

*is responsible for acting as an information resource to patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy and drug related information and literature

*plans and organizes work schedule of supportive personnel and pharmacists, as required.

PHARMACY TECH (#8165)
Group Health Associates/Clifton:
  FT, days  

Pharmacy Tech, under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, supervisor, and/or director of pharmacy services, performs a variety of technical and clerical duties for the hospital-wide unit dose drug distribution system and intravenous admixture program.  Position will be responsible to:
 
*maintain confidential reports
 *enter and retrieve data utilizing the computer system
*prepare intravenous medication, including but not limited to, chemotherapeutic preparations, hyper-alimentations and antibiotics
*fill automated medication dispensing system with a supply of unit dose medications
*procure and fill requests for pharmaceutical supplies and deliver supplies to nursing units

Requirements

PHARMACIST:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy Pharmacist or Eligible for licensure EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years related field

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:  prescription formula and mathematics for calculating dosage and quantity; working knowledge of all Ohio Board of Pharmacy regulations
