St. John Regional Medical Center, 266-beds, in Oxnard, CA has an excellent opportunity for a part-time with benefits Shift Administrator.

This position will serve as Administrative officer on duty for assigned shift.  Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Responding to emergency codes and assumes duties as needed
• Serves as Disaster Control Officer during an internal/external disaster until higher level Administrator arrives
• Assists with coordinating appropriate staffing for nursing departments and adjusting according to census levels and patient safety.
• Performs admit nurse duties after hours and on weekends.
• Serves as a liaison between employees on assigned shift and their department manager in communicating needs, problems and pertinent information.

This is a part-time, benefited position (20 hrs/wk) and the typical hours will be one 8 hour 11p-7a shift per week and every other weekend 7p-7a.

•  Requires current CA Registered Nurse Licensure and current CPR Certification.
• Five years increasingly responsible experience as a Registered Nurse, including two years of clinical experience.
• Baccalaureate degree preferred.
