In the state of Pennsylvania, MHM is the mental health service provider to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections and Philadelphia Prison System. We are seeking a Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team of over 20 Psychiatrists & Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners collectively at Philadelphia Prison System. If you are not interested in a Part Time commitment, MHM is also hiring for Internal Locums opportunities.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Provide comprehensive on site psychiatric services to an adult male inmate / patient population at Philadelphia Prison System. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will work as part of a strong mental health treatment team to include: Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Masters Level Social Workers, Psychologists & Nursing. Overview of responsibilities: Outpatient / Inpatient Psychiatric Care, Evaluations, Medication Monitoring, Treatment Planning. Requirements
- Psychiatric Certified Nurse Practitioner or Adult Family Practice Nurse Practitioner with solid mental health experience.
- Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania license with DEA.
- All qualified candidates will be required to submit to a thorough security clearance as required by the institution of employment
