Foster Care Case Manager
Location:  Anderson

 

This full-time position is working with foster children and foster families within the guidelines set forth by the Foster Care Program, the Madison County Division of Family & Children (DCS), and/or other agencies.   Essential task will include collection of necessary data through social histories, interviews, and collateral contacts in order to evaluate immediate needs of youth.  Case Manager must assess needs and assist in development of services to meet specialized need of clients.

 

Requirements Educational requirements are as follows:  B.S. or B.A. degree in behavioral science from an accredited institution as well as two years experience in a mental health setting working with children/adolescents.  Demonstrated ability to communicate well both verbally and in written form.  Must be able to maintain a high level of movement and activity.   Must posses a valid drivers license.
