Description

 

Located in the Company’s headquarters, Philadelphia, the individual in this role will have company-wide responsibility for performing all Controllership activities of the Company. The position will report directly to the CFO of the Company.


 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operational accounting, including accounts payable, revenue and property accounting and severance and ad valorem taxes.

  •  

    Oversee general ledger accounting, intercompany accounts and consolidation of entity results.

  •  

    Responsible for overseeing the preparation of internal financial reporting to Management and Board of Directors, including analysis of variances to budgets, forecasts and long-range plans.

  •  

    Preparation of SEC reports, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K and registration statements.

  •  

    Evaluate financial performance of new acquisitions against projections including preparation of financial models and financial due diligence.

  •  

    Prepare compliance reporting for credit facilities and debt agreements.

  •  

    Coordinate corporate income and related tax compliance through Manager of Tax.

  •  

    Monitor and evaluate financial rules and guidelines as they affect the corporation and communicate impact to CFO and Management.

  •  

    Participate in the development of corporate strategy and objectives and assist with the formulation of strategic plans to meet objectives.

  •  

    Develop and implement internal and disclosure controls including SOX 404 compliance.

  •  

    Continued oversight of SAP to ensure optimal utilization and ongoing maintenance.

  •  

    Analyze market data to identify trends and business opportunities.

  •  

    Presentations to the Board of Directors as appropriate.

  •  

    Travel as necessary.

Requirements

 

  • MBA or equivalent work experience

     

  • Fifteen plus years experience in Oil & Gas E&P industry

     

     

  • Strategic thinker that can generate ideas and translate ideas into action plans

     

     

  • Excellent relationship and networking skills at all levels of the organization

     

     

  • Experience with SAP preferred
  •  

    Self-starter with strong problem solving and analytical skills

  •  

    Excellent written and oral communication skills

     

  • Proven leadership abilities

     


 

This position requires relocation to Pittsburgh.  Company is paying full relocation costs.

Compensation: 175k – 225k plus bonus, equity, etc.
