Description
Director of Environmental Management & Engineering

Executive level engineering position involving operation of 12.7 MGD wastewater treatment plant & system serving 47,700 residents: oversight of drainage, pollution control & municipal construction projects, supervision of 36.  Lead in the completion of $46 million capital improvement project of the wastewater treatment plant and sewer system.
Requirements


Minimum qualifications: 

BS in civil engineering or related field plus 5 years administrative/management experience in large scale public works projects involving environmental issues.  State of New York Proffessional Engineer's license and Grade 4 Treatment Plant Operator's license required.  Salary 129,000.
Appointment is provisional, pending passing civil service examination.  Must be  a resident of Rockland County, NY at time of exam.
