Description GL Staffing, one of South Florida's largest staffing companies has a client with an immediate need for an Entry Level Mechanical or Electrical Engineer based out of Doral.

This position is designed to teach and train engineers on the types of processes, machines, and products our client manufactures and re-manufacture. The eventual outcome, growing into a full time engineering role managing processes, projects, and leading small work group projects.

Requirements
  • Recent graduate with a four year degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (Applicants graduating in December of 2009 or May of 2010 are encouraged to apply).

  • Prior internships in the electrical industry is a preferred.

 

  • Prior internships or course work involving lean concepts and process data work are preferred.
  • AutoCAD proficiency and prior experience with Pro-E is a plus.

  • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.  

 

  • Bilingual applicants preferred.

This position is a contract-to-hire position. After completion of 600 hours the selected candidate will be eligible for full-time hire and benefits from our client.
