Description
Seeking qualified, responsible candidates to work in a warehouse in Brownsburg, IN. This is a temporary assignment with the possibility of direct hire after 60 days.
Duties can vary day to day. These duties may include:
1. Manually loading boxes onto lines from the receiving area to the scanning area.
2. Scanning products during the receiving process and checking for accuracy.
3. Sorting products into different areas to be put away.
4. Running products from conveyor lines to sorting stations.
5. Wrapping products with shrink wrap machine.
6. Operating a box cutter and/or tape gun.
7. Housekeeping
8. Lifting 50 pounds throughout the day.
9. Standing for the entire shift (8 hours or more).
10. Working at a consistently quick pace on your feet for your entire shift.
Pay rates increase over $1/hour after direct hire with the company. Company is not seeking long-term temporary associates. Looking for qualified candidates to fill full-time positions. Consideration for full-time hire based on attendance (excellent attendance required), safety, work performance and attitude.
Requirements
.No felonies in past 10 years - no exceptions. National Background checks will be run prior to placement.
.No misdemeanors related to violence, theft, dishonesty or conversion.
.Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. High School GED or diploma
2. Ability to read and speak English
3. Ability to compare and verify number patterns
4. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds repetitively
5. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds infrequently
6. Manual hand dexterity
7. Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day
8. Ability to reach and bend
9. Excellent work history
