The Carbon Fiber Sales Manager position will lead Americas Carbon Fiber sales and be responsible for positioning Hexcel Carbon Fiber in new/existing markets and applications and growing the business profitably.  Additional responsibilities are as follows:

·         Develop, analyze and present annual and longer term CF forecasts.   

·         Maintain and strengthen customer relationships and communications –         intimate knowledge of key programs, timing, applications, technologies, decision-makers

·      Perform Competitor analysis and determine strategic Hexcel positioning/opportunity

·      Identify customer and market trends and requirements

·      Supervise direct reports (comp, performance planning and reviews)

Requirements

 

The successful candidate must have a BA/BS degree in engineering or related discipline and a sound understanding of composite materials, specifically carbon fiber.  Direct Sales or related experience a must and sales leadership experience strongly desired.  Strong communications, interpersonal, planning, organizational, negotiation, business acumen, and decision-making skills required.  Candidates must also possess good math, financial, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Solid career progression and proven results required as well as the capability of growing/advancing with the business. This position requires significant travel, estimated to be 50%-75% of the time.
