Part-Time Electrical Industry Account Manager

Are you looking for a part time sales position to supplement your income?  If so, Crescent Electric Supply Company, an industry leader in electrical product distribution, may be the place for you. We are adding to our team in Phoenix, Arizona and are searching for part time Account Managers to interact with customers in order to increase overall sales and provide a high level of customer service.

Account Managers regularly:
• Make sales calls to current and prospective customers
• Demonstrate new products
• Report industry updates to customers
• Develop account plans and penetration strategies

These positions are designed to be part time (30 hours per week maximum) and are straight commission. You will earn 16% of the gross margin that your orders generate. You will be given a list of customers to call on within a reasonable driving distance from your home. You will be trained locally and will have a dedicated inside sales person as well as a quotations department and projects management team to support you.

• Individual must possess strong comprehensive PC skills (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, AS400, mainframe, Outlook products) and product knowledge.
• Must possess interpersonal and organizational skills, be a self starter, be detail oriented, and have the ability to communicate (verbal and written).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory required.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of two years related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university is preferred.
• Extensive career history in the electrical industry, either as an electrician, electrical engineer, electrical wholesale industry employee or manufacturer's representative.
• Previous electrical product sales experience preferred.
• Preference will be given to candidates who already have extensive contacts in the Phoenix Metro Marketplace.
