Financial Analyst Specializing in Cost Accounting Standards

Our client, a prominent employer in Montgomery County seeks an experienced analyst to review and manage about twelve large contracts. The company is in the process of determining a new cost basis for their contracts.

We are seeking highly qualified individuals with extensive CAS experience to assist our client in determining the best strategies for their current business model. This is a highly visible role and you have significant impact in determining how the company moves forward.

 

1. Evaluate current grants and contracts to determine CAS compliance

 

 

 

2. Research various avenues to determine how to apply a new cost basis.

 

 

 

3. Once new basis has been determined, lead company thought the implementation phase.

 

 

 

4. As contract are implemented, develop metrics to benchmark performance on a monthly and quarterly basis over the life of the contract.

 

 

 

5. Other ad hoc projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

• BA/BS in Finance or Accounting

 

 

• At least five years of experience working with Cost Accounting Standards in a government contracting or grant environment

 

 

• Ability to concisely present information as well as options for action

 

 

• Ability to interact with multiple level of management

 

 

• Comfort dealing in a deadline-driven environment

 

Salary to $85K as well as a very generous benefits package.
