Colonial Life is seeking an experienced Employee Benefit Specialist to be the catalyst for developing new voluntary benefits sales in Milwaukee, WI for Colonial Life licensed for the state of Wisconsin.
Colonial Life is considered the premier provider of voluntary benefits in the fastest-growing segment of the insurance industry! This is an entrepreneurial (Independent Contract-1099) role who will report directly to local District Agency Sales Managers as a consultant for growth and results. Compensation is robust and considered the best in this industry.
Mentoring and assistance for training and development is provided through the Regional Instructor and local District Sales Manager. This individual will be responsible for the developing new business relationships and opening new voluntary sales accounts from our extensive database of business leads.

Requirements
The new account opener position requires an individual with effective communication and public speaking skills, sales and marketing skills, great follow up, and attention to detail.
The new account opener is the first impression the client has of Colonial Life.

Primary focus is to develop a process for regular contact of new small to large businesses conducting a proven discovery process and sales presentation to key decision makers

Incentive based bonus program makes this a lucrative position, the new account opener is expected to develop new accounts
- Performance Based Pay with a first year targeted range of $50,000-$75,000 based on a high level of daily activity (More is probable if you exceed expected goals)
Candidates should posess these skill:
- Great presentation and communication skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and client contact focus
- Computer skills and comfort with electronic communication
- Prior sales experience; highly affable individual who enjoys talking to potential clients
- Ability to work independently (self-motivated), as well as part of a team which is dedicated to growing the organization
- Life and Health license required
