Job Description:
DEPARTMENT: BUILDING MAINTENANCE
POSITION: POOL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
SHIFT: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm M/F – with Limited Weekends


We are seeking qualified individual to join our Building Maintenance team who are responsible for the support a well maintained community. The position consists of the following general duties but is not all inclusive.

 

  • Must have a current Certified Pool Operators(CPO) License.
  • Perform detailed inspections of the pools, equipment, and facilities.
  • Trouble shoot and repair pool components and equipment.
  • General pool care of commercial pools including chemical monitoring and adjustment.
  • Completion of assigned work orders or projects in a professional and timely manner.
  • Organize daily assignments and work independently to achieve department's goals.

Benefits:

We offer a very competitive starting salary ($13.00 to $14.00 per hour, based on experience) and benefit package including health benefits, weekly pay, paid holidays, paid vacations and free uniform after successful completion of an initial probationary period, in addition to a stable work environment.Ongoing employee development and training.

Requirements Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED certificate.
  • Three years experience in pool maintenance.
  • Current Certified Pool Operators (CPO)Certification.
  • General knowledge of pool systems.
  • General knowledge of pool maintenance and chemicals.
  • Must be proficient in both oral and written English. Bilingual is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems, identify solutions, and recommend and implement methods, procedures or techniques for resolution.
  • Must posses a valid Florida State driver’s license.
  • Must have a telephone.
  • Must be dependable.
