Clinical Nurse II- Intensive Care Unit

Currently Maryland General Hospital is hiring for a Registered Nurse of our Intensive Care Unit.  The responsibility of the nurse will be to work, as a partner within the health care team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for assuring that the nursing process is followed for each patient from admission through discharge.

• Responsible for managing, directing and supervising, all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment in the unit.

• Promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.

• Expectations in exercising judgment in the care of patients and in the management of personnel.

• The RN will adhere to all regulations of the Nurse Practice Act.

•           At least 1 year of nursing experience.  If applying for specialty area 1-2 years of experience is a must.

•           Licensed Registered Nurse
