Description We are a progressive, established RV and bus dealership searching for an experienced Service Manager to provide excellent customer service to our clients while maintaining a profitable position in our growing market.  We are celebrating our 80th anniversary this year.  Come be a part of our success.

Job duties include:

Directly managing 6 service technicians, 1 service advisor, and 1 warranty administrator
Operating under our current DMS:  Galaxy Infinity
Developing processes for customer interactions to ensure complete customer satisfaction
Leading and teaching direct reports to assure their development and success
Handling customer issues in accordance with the dealership's guidelines
Working in harmony with other departments, assuring an atmosphere of teamwork
Understanding and complying with federal, state and local regulations that affect the service department.
Hiring the best possible candidates for each position in the service department
Directing and scheduling service personnel for maximum and efficient coverage
Providing expert technical assistance to technicians
Serving as liaison to factory personnel
Ensuring that customer's files are current in the DMS
Assisting in the collection of past due service accounts
Knowing and enforcing safety requirements, including but not limited to fork lift training and operation, processing of MSDS sheets on all products carried, and OSHA right-to-know and lock-out-tag-out.
Monitoring service personnel payroll records
Preparing and administering an annual operating budget for the service department.
Requirements Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
Ability to move about the shop to help customers and work on RVs as necessary.
High school diploma.
Five years of experience in a repair facility, including experience as a service advisor.
One year of supervisory experience.
Experience operating a DMS.
Excellent supervisory and management skills.
Preference will be given to candidates with franchise dealership management experience: either RV, Automotive, Marine or Heavy Equipment.
This position requires Saturday work hours.
