District Dietitian

Description In this exciting opportunity, the Registered Dietitian will provide guidance and assist in problem solving related to dietary services management, quality nutritional care of the residents in skilled nursing facilities throughout the Richmond Region.

Responsibilities include assisting facilities in providing high quality and cost effective food service and medical nutrition therapy. Knowledge of CQI, RAI process, and state and federal regulations are essential. At least 3 years experience in long term care strongly preferred.

The District Dietitian will work collaboratively with the Food Service Manager in meeting the nutritional needs of the residents by assisting in assessing nutritional needs and monitoring of preparation, service, delivery, and storage of food. Must be a team player that works well with other interdisciplinary team members.

Responsibilities include ensuring facility compliance with Federal and State Regulations, and evaluation of the provision of quality, cost-effective food service in compliance with established standards, regulations and procedures.
