This privately held real estate investment and management company provides management services for various syndicated partnerships. The company is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts with regional offices in Atlanta, GA, Baltimore, MD, Jericho, NY, Lake Success, NY, Pittsburgh, PA, Los Angeles, CA, Chicago, IL, and Dallas, TX.

The company is currently seeking an Accounting Administrator to provide administrative support to the Property Accounting Department.
Responsibilities
· Types, proofreads and edits general correspondence, including accounting reports, memos, lease proposals, tables, charts, etc.
· Assists with assembling, copying and binding monthly reports
· Prepares bank reconciliations for all bank accounts
· Makes copies of correspondence and other printed matter and prepares mailings
· Sets up and maintains file system for various portfolios – sends files to storage as needed
· Files correspondence and other records
· Runs daily cash reports
· Monitors cancelled checks and chargebacks with bank
· Prepares daily wire transfers
· Opens new bank accounts
· Processes AT&T cell phone invoices and prepares detailed invoices for each entity
· Back-up to receptionist
· Other projects as requested
Requirements
Candidate Profile
Education
· Associates degree in Business or related coursework
Work Experience
· Minimum four years work experience in an accounting department/business environment.
· Strong accounting or bookkeeping skills required
Technical Skills
· Effective working knowledge of Excel and/or other spreadsheet applications, Microsoft office products, real-estate accounting software a plus, MRI for Windows knowledge preferred.
