Grundy Center & Cedar Falls

Two facilities 25 min apart in this beautiful area of Iowa.  We have employment opportunities in both locations – but our greatest need is in Grundy Center.  They offer slightly different programs and caseloads – giving you an expanded opportunity to diversify your skills within two buildings or just one.  We are somewhat new to these contracts (have been here about a year now) and are still in the mode of building new programs, expanding our equipment and educating our teams.  Our focus here is achieving functional outcomes and fostering a return to the home environment or discharged to a lower level of care.  (Ask me about our Rehab Outcome Measurement program.)  There is a lot of community involvement in these sites and we have found not only administration, but also nursing, to be extremely complimentary and supportive of our team.  Both sites have an equal distribution of both part A & part B in their caseloads.  This is a great chance for you to join an established team and grow with our department.  Email your resume to initiate the interview process.

Requirements Carries out effective patient treatment plans to restore, compensate or adapt for loss of patient function, which are established by the licensed/registered therapist. Plans conform to federal, state and professional standards.

Qualifications
• Graduate from an accredited program for Physical Therapy Assistants or must possess and maintain a current license in the state of practice as required.
• Must possess problem-solving skills of the type and at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
• Must meet all local health regulations, pass post-offer drug test, and post-offer employment physical exam if required.
• Must be capable of performing essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must have own transportation to travel between sites as needed.
• Must possess computer skills of the type and at a level necessary to accomplish specific job duties and assignments.
• Must meet Clinical Competency requirements upon hire and as needed.
