Description:

 

Brooksource is searching for a Website Information Architect for a leading printing and media company located in downtown Columbus, Ohio. This is an immediate need and a 3-4 month contract to hire. The first projects this person will be working on are a Google Analytics project and an implementation of a social networking feature into their websites. This person will be joining the marketing/digital group and will need to help gather requirements, define projects, etc. Other responsibilities as a Senior Website Information Architect include mentoring up to two entry-level developers.

 

This position will be about 25% architecting websites and 75% development. Additional responsibilities include designing the Information Architecture and collaborating with web development team to integrate visual elements from wire-frames and translate into templates for CMS driven websites.

 

 

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Solid experience with HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, JSP/PHP, etc.
  • 1-2 years architecture experience
  • Hands on experience with CMS workflows
  • Solid knowledge of object oriented technologies
  • Experience with hands on implementation in a web development/application environment
