Description
KI, an award winning commercial furniture manufacturer with an international presence, is seeking an innovative District Manager responsible for the leadership, management and profitability of our Mid-Atlantic sales office based in the greater Washington, DC area. This territory will include Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland.
Outstanding leadership skills are essential since this individual will be responsible for territory sales goals, and the recruitment, selection, direction, organization, coordination, planning, communication and control of an existing sales force. In addition, you will monitor competitor activities, pricing, and formulate sales strategies as well as assist in the development of marketing programs. We are looking for a leader with customer service passion who inspires the sales force in achieving stretch goals with emphasis on margins, budget conformance and profit contribution. We expect that this individual will utilize established relationships and the A&D community to increase sales performance and market growth.
Requirements
Successful candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of sales management experience and a track record of success in developing new business. Experience in the furniture or related industry is preferred.
