Description

Peirce College invites candidates to be responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities of the College including the supervision of the general ledger, journal entries, daily cash reporting, investment analysis, preparation of tax reports, & financial statements. Accountable for the timely completion & coordination of the annual year-end financial audit. Develops & implements internal controls.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required in related field. Master's &/or CPA designation preferred. Minimum of 7 years related working experience, preferably in higher education or nonprofit. Demonstrated independent decision-making, sound judgment, group process & team building & teamwork skills with the ability to set priorities. Must be able to display tact, diplomacy & skill in effectively communicating the College's activities to all constituent groups. Ability to communicate effectively verbally & in writing. Demonstrated problem solving & conflict resolution skills. Project & time management skills that enable the accomplishment of various tasks on a concurrent basis. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite & database management. Knowledge of Jenzabar or comparable college platform.
