Copywriter

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with creative team to conceptualize promotional ideas. Expand those promotional ideas into broadcast copy. Carefully proofread and edit all copy. Manage time efficiently to keep up with high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

IDEAL CANDIDATE: You believe a word paints a thousand pictures. You know what it takes to sell the sizzle and the steak. You're constantly fishing for new ideas, and have the sense to reel in the good ones and toss back the rest (or put them on ice to cook later). You're exceptionally creative and detailed-oriented. You are calm, cool, and collected in the midst of day-to-day chaos. You’re confident in your broadcast writing expertise yet modest enough to take direction from others. You appreciate the importance of the correlation between your copy to the success of each promotion. Thus, you continuously strive to outperform prior benchmarks.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Minimum of 2 years experience writing and producing results-oriented ad copy for television and radio (In house agency experience is preferred.)
• 4 year degree in Advertising, Marketing, or English preferred
• Must be deadline oriented and able to work within a production schedule.
