Description

Hughes Federal Credit Union is looking to fill part time teller positions at our offices located in Tucson, AZ. Six months recent cash handling experience required. Duties of a teller include: Receiving and processing member financial transactions, including, but not limited to, deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments; sells money orders and travelers checks to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed. Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including assistance with vault balancing, ATM balancing, and TCD machine balancing. Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services, directs members to appropriate department for specific information and services, and identifies cross-selling opportunities and cross-sells those products/services to members. Balances cash drawer and daily transactions in a timely manner. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Hiring for the following hours:

Shift One: M, W, Th and F 7:15 - 12:15 and Saturdays 8:30 - 1:30 or 10:00 - 3:00
Shift Two: M and W 8:45 - 5:15 Tuesday 12:00 - 5:15 Friday 8:45 - 6:15
and Saturdays 8:30 -1:30 or 10:00 - 3:00


Must be available to work Saturdays and be willing to travel to all Credit Union locations.

Requirements
  • Provide accurate, courteous, friendly and professional service to members and other employees.
  • To look for opportunities for cross selling products and services of the Credit Union.
  • To assist with maintaining a high skill level among all tellers.
  • To balance daily in a timely manner consistent with credit union standards.
  • To handle a proportionate number of transaction based on branch volume. Posting and transaction errors not to exceed credit union policy.
  • Meet assigned sales goals and service standards.
