Description

Customer service oriented, technical support and system administrator responsible for network, servers, desktop and peripherals.

  • First level support on all IT incidents by following incident management process and escalation procedure

  • Troubleshoot desktop, OS, Network issues

  • Create new user accounts

  • Maintain user accounts, Reset passwords
  • Maintain network and personal printers
  • Install software
  • Install hardware
  • Perform backup to desktop or server as needed
  • Maintain backup media
  • Review backup logs
  • Phone extensions support and maintenance
  • Badge & security system support
  • IT related procurement activities
  • License compliance, control and management (inventory and contacts to vendors for renewals)
  • Adhere to company and license policies
  • Interface clients and remote users and vendors as needed
  • Compliance with all released ITIL procedures policies
  • Work with users in the local office and remote users
Requirements
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience, Field Certifications.
  • 3 ~ 5 years experience with networks, computers, operating systems, etc.
  • Interpersonal skills, reading and writing comprehension, general math, computer operations, TCP/IP, networking fundamentals, hardware, multiple operating systems
  • Ability to work with users remotely and in person as required
  • Problem solving skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task between incidents and projects’ tasks
  • Willingness and patience working with users in the office and remotely on computer related issues
  • Good communications skills verbal and written
