Description

Specializing in services for individuals living with autism, Keystone Human Services Mid Atlantic provides a comprehensive array of community-based supports in southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware. Formerly known as Keystone Service Systems Southeast, Keystone Human Services Mid Atlantic was established in 2000 in response to the increasing need for specific services for adults with autism. In the subsequent years at KHSMA we have expanded our coverage to also provide services to adults with intellectual disabilities.

Our range of services and supports to people with autism and intellectual disabilities includes 24-hour supported residential living homes, home and community support, behavioral therapy and employment support.

At KHSMA we use a team approach, and we believe that support for individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities must be highly individualized, structured around each person's particular needs and characteristics. Functional skills are taught within the context of individual strengths, and each individual is encouraged to communicate his or her needs and desires in ways that facilitate the development of valued and meaningful relationships.
