Description
We are currently looking for a full-time, Certified Pharmacy Technician at Western State Hospital in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
Key duties include:
- Manual technical tasks involved with the proper storage, distribution,packaging, and labeling of drugs.
- Transport medications, carts, orders and other items to various areas of the hospital
- Associated record-keeping, and patient charging systems.
- Works under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
- Must be an advocate for the goals, programs, and image of the department.
Located in Hopkinsville, KY (about 70 miles south of Evansville, IN), Western State Hospital was founded in January 1825 and is one of the Kentucky state psychiatric facilities offering inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care services to Western Kentucky. The hospital is focused on developing and providing a continuity of quality psychiatric care within an integrated and collaborative system.
Hours of Operation: Monday–Friday 7:30am-4:30pm Saturdays 7:30am-11:30am
