Description

Standard Register Company is currently seeking highly-motivated Healthcare Business Development Manager experienced in selling to large healthcare organizationsPosition needs to be in the Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Chicago, Wisconsin, Kentucky,or Western PA.   The specific location for this position is to be determined after considering the successful candidate’s current home location.

 

The individual in this position should be able to develop large strategic relationships within targeted Healthcare prospect accounts and sell value added solutions.  This individual will be a part of a dynamic fast-paced sales team. Experience in document management, print, software, or a related industry is required.  Standard Register considers this to be a solutions-oriented sales position that uses state of the art sales techniques and tools to provide every opportunity for success. 

  • Direct sales through new business development activities at the enterprise account level, increased revenue within assigned geographic area
  • Strategize with corporate sales representatives to identify large expansion opportunities with existing base of business. 
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Managers and Area Vice President in transitioning sold customers to the appropriate Standard Register resources
  • Set an example for the corporate sales team through success in new business development at the enterprise account level
  • Monitor and analyze opportunity funnel, sales activity, plans, and relationships 
  • Act as liaison in cross-selling activities
  • Develop strategies, tactics and actions required to achieve revenue/profit objectives and client satisfaction

Requirements
 
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience) in business, marketing and sales or related field of study
  • Must be able to demonstrate outside / direct sales record (5+ years) at a high level of achievement and at the C-level. Outside, solutions-selling experience to large Healthcare organizations in any one or all of the following areas: Document Management, Workflow Management Systems, eContent, Labeling / Barcoding Solutions, Commercial Print, Software, EMR Business Forms & Digital Printing or related industry
  • Proven track record of successful prospecting within large Health Systems
  • 3-5 years of regional sales management experience preferred
  • Must be able to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a work team as well as be self-motivated.
  • Must be able to overcome obstacles to performance and accept rejections of customers
  • Analytical skill set, strong presentation skills, & ability to interact with various levels within an organization
  • Ability to self-motivate, multi-task and work independently from a distance  
  • Outstanding Written/Verbal Communication Skills, Solid
    Interpersonal Skills and Professional Demeanor
    Ability and willingness to travel in order to cover substantial geographical area
  • Valid State Driver's License with acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Permanent, Formal Authorization to live and work in the United States
  • Willingness to travel 30-40%
