Summary of Financial Services Consultant:

NuVision Federal Credit Union is currently looking for a talented and motivated individual to fill our PART TIME Financial Services Consultant position. The FSC's are responsible for offering and selling Credit Union products and services to all members. Establish, develop, and retain, long-term relationships with current and potential members. Meet Sales and Service goals by proactively identifying financial needs. Provide exceptional customer service by exceeding member expectations. If you are outgoing, friendly, energetic and engaging and you want to be part of a successful expanding team, then we want to hear from you.


Responsibilities :
  • Opens all types of new accounts: Savings, Checking, Money Market and Trust Accounts and processes new service requests (ATM cards, direct deposits, etc.)
  • Accept applications for credit, compile the necessary information to process loans – thoroughly and accurately completing all steps of the loan process.
  • Process and research all requests from Members -- Resolving account problems in a timely manner and notifying the Member.
  • Accurately maintain all documents (and logs) -- setting up loans on computer system, preparing loan documents for closing, disbursing loans to the Members, and ensuring that all documents are complete and accurate.
  • Cross-sell all credit union products and services as appropriate.

 

Requirements
Requirements :
  • Proven track record of success in cross-selling!
  • A minimum of 3 years finance industry experience with a minimum of 2 years in underwriting, consumer loan sales and core deposit products.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment in lending and new account practices.
  • Proficient in data entry skills to efficiently book loans as well as in the operation of a PC with capability to work proficiently in Word and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with members, management and other team members.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to work in a high volume, fact paced environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.
