QA Analyst

QA Analyst

Trading firm located downtown Chicago needs a QA Analyst with a strong development background due to growth.  In this role you will be responsible for the testing of highly complex and integrated trading applications. 

Candidate must be available for an in person interview at their own expense. 

They are looking for an experienced QA Analyst that is proficient with testing methodologies. Most of the testing is manual but will be involved in building of an automation framework.  For this reason java development skills are a must. Other responsibilities will include working with unix/linux and writing commands and shell scripts.  Strong back-end testing with Oracle and writing complex SQL queries. 

To be successful in this role you must have at least 5 years of solid Quality Assurance and solid experience creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.  Must also have recent experience developing in java, preferably developing automation frameworks.  In addition must have solid unix/linux skills and be able to develop shell/perl scripts from scratch.  Lastly you need to have good Oracle/SQL skill as well. 

Any trading or FIX experience is a huge plus!
