Description New Horizon Health and Rehabilitation Center, a 159 bed Greystone Healthcare managed facility seeks individuals who are warm, caring and share our commitment to our residents and their families. Our personnel are experts in eldercare dedicated to using their knowledge to provide a higher quality of care and service to the residents we serve.

For this exciting housekeeping role, we are seeking a special individual who has a passion to work in a long term care facility. Someone who can preserve the attractive ambiance of resident rooms, interior and exterior areas of the building, maintain and provide a postive physical and psychosocial environment for the residents. An enthusiastic individual who takes pride in their cleaning labors ensuring for a sanitized community.

Requirements This role requires a detail-oriented, independent team member with experience in maintenance of floors including stripping and waxing process, who is able to clean resident rooms, common areas on a schedule and affinity for working with the senior population.
The potential candidate must be able to maneuver objects and/or residents without difficulty. Must be able to read, write and verbally understand instructions.
