Description
Wooden Spoon Technologies, a seven year-old, fast growing IT support & hosting company is looking for an experienced field support IT Field Support Engineer to work in our Santa Rosa, California offices.
Day-to-day work involves local on-site computer service, repair, networking and upgrades with a fair amount of remote work from our facility. We are looking for a skilled, hardworking and customer-service oriented technician to provide support to our clients from a variety of industries including accounting, medical, legal, manufacturing and service-based businesses.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with strong analytical and problem solving abilities. We are a technical services company with a keen eye toward building long-term relationships with our clients. Exceeding expectations by providing exceptional support and supervised delivery of IT services according to our best practices is the backbone of our business.

Requirements
Minimum certifications
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in any server-based discipline (Server 2003 or later)
CompTIA Network+ (or equivalent)
Desired certifications
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
Certified SonicWALL Security Administrator (CSSA)
Cisco Certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE)
VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
Citrix Certified Administrator for XenServer, XenApp, or XenDesktop (CCA)
Required Skills
Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of:
Windows Server-based networks
Wired and wireless networks, including security and remote access
Hosted Windows and Linux-based Web Services
Common Windows Applications: Office, QuickBooks, ACT
PC and Server hardware
Network design, router and firewall configuration and management
Network monitoring tools, security and capacity planning
Networked storage
Additional Requirements
Valid California driver license and clean DMV record
Presenable vehicle for use on company business.
Able to lift 50 pounds
