Loss Control Administrator-Clearwater, FL


AmTrust  is a multinational property and casualty insurer specializing in coverage for small businesses..

We are currently seeking a detail oriented Loss Control Administrator for our Clearwater, FL office.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Serves as the primary contact managing all relationships with service providers, consultants and vendors.   
  • Establishes and maintains moderately complex indexes and a heavy volume of correspondence filing.
  • Compiles simple data for reports and summaries.
  • Reviews, indexes, processes, files, and maintains records.
  • Verifies statistical reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Performs word processing functions and automation on a personal computer.
  • Performs inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment.

     

 

 

Requirements

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED plus five (5) years of general clerical/secretarial experience. 
  • Completion of thirty (30) semester hours of college may substitute for one (1) year of the required experience with a maximum substitution of four (4) years. 

Required Skills & Abilities 

 

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel,  
  • Experience in the insurance industry a plus
  • Minimum 5 years office experience
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Capacity to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to change

 

Working Conditions

 

  • Prolonged periods of time on the phone and repetitive hand movements
