EXTENDED FAMILY CARE provides the very best in customized homecare services throughout Pennsylvania.

We have an IMMEDIATE need for an Office Administrator to manage the overall administration of our Pittsburgh branch office.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Executes the Marketing Plan as developed in the Regional Plan.

  • Maintains existing business and solicits new business for the branch office.

  • Represents the company in the community by participating in associations and community organizations.

  • Assists in the preparation of the budget, controls expenses and maintains budget margins.

  • Participates in the Regional Quality Care Committee.

  • Ensures that all JCAHO, Federal, State and local standards are being followed.

  • Ensures that all personnel are in compliance with Policies and Procedures regarding service delivery, service coordination, personnel, payroll and billing.

  • Maintains all clinical standards for service delivery.

  • Ensures proper follow-up on all operational issues with clients, client’s families, employees and referral sources.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

  • Directly supervises all branch office personnel. 
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. 
  • Interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

 

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year college or university plus three years supervisory experience; or five-seven years experience supervising an office; or equivalent combination of education and experience; MBA a plus.  Working knowledge of county, state, and federal payers, i.e. Medicare and Medicaid; as well as JACHO also a plus. RN preferred.
