Our Client is a large Publication in Midtown Manhattan. They are in the look out for 2-4 Web Front-End Engineers, on a 5-6+ month contract position.
The primary responsibility of the positions is to rebuild the platform of a B-C interactive website.
The ideal candidates will have 3-6 years of Enterprise Java development experience.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
• Expertise in CSS, XHTML, HTML, DOM, JavaScript & AJAX..
• Expert JavaScript - jQuery & JS toolkits: Prototype, Dojo, YUI.
• Experience with RSS, JSON and RESTful applications
• Knowledge of Adobe Tools Flash, Photoshop or Illustrator.
• Experienced in Java environment with JSP, JSTL or other taglibs.
• Solid Principles in SEO, Ad Networks, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, GIS
• Experience in PHP, Perl, Ruby is a plus.
• UNIX/Linux environment with enterprise tools – versioning, debugging, testing.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
