Job Description: Must be US Citizen (Temp to Hire Position)

·         Our client is in the aerospace industry, they have developed and launched a variety of highly capable spacecraft platforms beginning with the pathfinding ALEXIS mission and followed by HETE, TERRIERS, and SPASE. Their more recent STPSat-1 vehicle was on the first ESPA launch in March 2007.

·         Their spacecraft and components incorporate modular architectures and plug-n-play technologies in an efficient, agile, and highly responsive design and integration environment.

 

Required Skills/Experice:

·         Must be US Citizen

·         Proven experience (10+ years) in Avionics Engineering with a focus on spacecraft avionics design, command/data handling system design, circuit analysis, FPGA design and analysis.

·         Experience with Circuit analysis and schematic capture software is required.

·         Proven ability to work in a fast-paced space system development environment

·         Outstanding writing and presentation skills.

Education: Requires an MS/BS in Electrical Engineering

This is a contract to hire - When hired directly candidates will recieve full benefits package to include medical, dental vision, LTD, matching 401(k) and ESOP -

Location: Ashburn, VA - but candidate can also be located in Denver, CO
Travel - 10% if candidate is located in VA, 50% if candidate is located in CO.
