Description Nurse Practitioner

OSU Rardin Family Practice is currently seeking candidates to join our growing team. The Nurse Practitioner provides health care services to patients working in collaboration with physicians and other medical staff.  Health care services provided include care during acute and chronic phases of illness, education and counseling of individuals and families, health promotion and prevention and referral to other health care providers and community resources when appropriate.

 

Works in coordination with the Office Manager and Office Lead physician to manage the delivery of healthcare by developing, planning, implementing and coordinating clinical programming and services.  Responsibilities include human resources, operational, and financial functions and non-physician technical and professional services to patients under the direction of the practice manager. Supervise, train and evaluate clinical staff and monitor/modify clinical operations.

Requirements

Masters degree in nursing and current license and certificate of authority to practice as a CNP in the State of Ohio are required. Previous experience in a fast paced primary care setting and previous experienc supervising clinical staff strongly prefered.
