Description

Our client, a publicly traded financial services investment and funding company with approximately $14 billion of AUM, is looking for a technically strong manager to oversee all of its consolidated financial reporting functions, including, SEC and investor reporting along with related MD&A used by investor relations and the CFO as part of their periodic communications with the investment community. Will supervise a department of 4 professionals. Will analyze all business unit performance results and variances , follow up on variances and report findings to Management. Will coordinate with external and internal auditors as required.


Great exposure to all Executive Management members with promotional opportunity to Controller position within one year.


Requirements

Requirements include:


CPA

8-12 years progressive experience including large public accounting (Big 4 preferred) as well as private industry exposure. Must have strong GAAP and SEC accounting & consolidation reporting experience. FAS 133 and Fin 46 exposure a plus.


Ability to analyze issues and make recommendations relating to these issues (internal controls, accounting transactions, special projects, etc).

Prefer experience in the Financial Services or Real Estate industries.
