PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

Immediate Full-time Day or Evening opening for experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician. Hospital Pharmacy Technician experience required as well as CPhT and Maryland Pharmacy Technician registry. Newly expanded Pharmacy with state-of-the-art clean room, pneumatic tube system, medication carousel, and latest version of Pyxis. Part-time Evening shift also available.

Requirements
High school education or equivalent is required. Registered in the State of Maryland as a Pharmacy Technician required. Minimum of one (1) year hospital or institutional Pharmacy Technician experience and certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required. Must have good understanding of Pyxis requirements. Responds to “stock-outs” and units’ Pyxis needs. Knowledge of hospital and institutional pharmacy practice is required.
