Description Our client, a successful publicly held company in an exciting industry is currently looking for a Controller to lead the company as they advance to the next phase of growth. Some of the Director of Accounting's responsibilities include:

1) Oversight of accounting department
2) Assisting in budgeting preparation
3) Oversight of all SEC reporting and filings
4) Ensuring adherence to GAAP and other technical pronouncements; act as point-person
5) Oversight of all Sarbanes Oxley matters
6) Review and evaluation of accounting team as well implementing Policies & Procedures
7) Ensuring timely monthly close
8) Active involvement with special projects

Requirements SEC experience required! (**resumes without SEC will not be considered**)

CPA a MUST

10-20 years of experience

Strong technical accounting and monthly close experience
