• 5+ years experience in government contracting accounting including extensive knowledge with FAR & CAS regulations
• 1+ year experience in a supervisory role
• Proficient in Deltek GCS Premiere and Deltek Time & Expense highly preferred
• Excellent communication skills (Oral & Written)
• Ability to work productively with C-Level Executives on Pricing Proposals and Contract Development
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment
• Highly organized and excellent time management skills

Small Government Contractor specializing in conference, meeting, and event management seeking a bright and polished individual for an Accounting Manager position.  This $20 million organization specializes in serving government, academia, technical and medical societies, corporations and foundations.  
 

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

• Day to day management and operations of the Accounting department including a staff of 4 accountants
• Preparation of monthly financial reporting package
• Development of quarterly and annual budgets and forecasts
• Participate in pricing proposals and contract development
• Work with executive level management improve financial controls and remain compliant with GAAP, FAR, and CAS regulations.
