Description
Highly motivated, results-oriented professional will provide Project Management support for Rosetta Stone Product Development Team. The successful candidate will have a strong consumer marketing background with demonstrated experience in supporting a team-based approach, managing the necessary processes and procedures for the planning, tracking, and implementing all packaging and support materials and implementing communications programs to help fulfill internal customer marketing needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This person will work with the Product Development Team to facilitate the execution of the comprehensive marketing plans from creation through implementation. He/She needs the ability to think strategically while also getting into the details of proper execution. This position will work with cross-functional project teams, creative agencies, design development, process workflow, schedules, budgets and team communications to ensure timely implementation of project deliverables and targeted brand communications solutions. This person will own the project management process for marketing communications across the company and consequently is responsible for orchestrating the resources to successfully complete the assignment.
Develop and implement strategic operational project plans to meet business goals of the Product Development Team.
Play integral role in strategic planning process as it relates to packaging/contents; ensure integration with other plans in organization.
Develop and manage a quality assurance process check of project deliverables, and has experience with establishing best practices and marketing standards.
Conduct regularly scheduled in-person meetings with key managers of the business for the purpose of reviewing progress as well as identifying new project needs.
Manage implementation of all marketing projects for the Product Development Team from concept through completion:
- Manage the marketing calendar that supports the product development schedule addressing business needs making recommendations to management as necessary.
- Identify and manage all the components for product launches utilizing the companies project management system. Gain approvals, open and close jobs, meet with creative team to brief them on the project.
- Working and Production Manager, draft estimates, timelines and creative brief and deliver to the Product Development Team for sign-off.
- Communicate all comments to creative team - receive final approval and then coordinate with Production to finalize project.
- Understands target market(s) and tracks competitive activity; helps develop creative positioning for new target audiences, markets, etc. based on research and market activity.
- Acts as primary liaison between Creative Services and Product Development Team. Manage products across the organization with various levels of management from VP’s to managers, reviewing schedules/concepts/comps/update to insure all goals are met as they relate to product development and production.
Additional marketing responsibilities; the development of creative briefs, establishing clear direction (art, copy, etc) obtain client sign off, provide direction and over view to the in-house creative team, receive final approval and coordinate project execution.

Requirements
- Position requires a minimum of 10-years experience in a Project Management or Account Service role in marketing on either the agency or client side or production of consumer packaging.
- Must have experience in dealing with a multitude of projects and details on a daily basis.
- Experience across marketing channels: such as print, online, advertising, and merchandising
- Creative, strategic thinking and strong communications skills – written and verbal – are mandatory.
- Multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in marketing software or other technology-driven company is a definite plus.
- Familiarity with software and web development process.
- Familiarity with package development and graphics is a plus.
- Must have expert computer skills in MS (Project, Word, Excel)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field required. Masters degree desirable but not required.
