PhoneFactor, Incorporated, is a leading provider of two-factor authentication services to enterprises worldwide. PhoneFactor adds a second factor of security to any existing corporate or website login, by using a users existing phone.
Founded in 2001, the company (formerly Positive Networks) pioneered the PositivePRO secure remote access service, which today enables highly-secure network access for remote workers. The PositivePRO service was spun-off in late 2008 to enable the company to focus exclusively on its new flagship product, PhoneFactor, and the company name was subsequently changed to reflect its new mission.
The PhoneFactor service was recognized in 2009 Gartner reports: Cool Vendors in Identity & Access Management and Cool Vendors in Healthcare Providers. It was also named a Top 10 Banking Technology to Watch and was awarded an eWEEK Analysts Choice Award in addition to being recognized by numerous analysts and industry leaders.
We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to meet the needs of our growing company.
Summary: This position is responsible for identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities for PhoneFactor’s two-factor authentication services. The Business Development Manager must have polished sales delivery skills and possess experience in proposal development, presentation delivery, price negotiation and contract discussion associated with complex organizations.
Requirements
Essential Duties//Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to:
- Understands and defines market opportunities
- Proactively prospects for new business development opportunities
- Effectively sells the value proposition to all necessary levels within targeted opportunities, developing mutual interest and closing deals
- Prepares and helps negotiate proposals
- Maintains industry knowledge and tracks competitor activity
- Figures out economic models for partnerships
Required Skills/Experience:
- Position typically requires 5 -8 years in business development, sales engineering and/or sales experience.
- Experience building and managing customer relationships, account management and partner development
- Tactical execution of projects requiring the ability to think creatively and solve business problems
- Experience with deal structuring
- Superior analytical skills
- Proven record of successfully growing a business, experience winning multi-million dollar deals
- Professional insight to determine good business opportunities, sound decision making skills
Education: Bachelors Degree required. IT security knowledge preferred.
