MidSouth Federal Credit Union, a $125 million dollar credit union, has immediate openings for Part Time Tellers at one of our Macon locations. Individuals must be detailed oriented, able to multi-task, possess a strong math aptitude, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work on Saturdays. Previous cash handling experience is a plus.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Process members' financial transactions; including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sell money orders and travelers checks; transfer funds from members' accounts as directed.

*Balance cash drawer.

*Cross-sell credit union services.

*Service members and provide routine information concerning products and services.

*Perform other related duties as assigned

PART TIME TELLER EXPECTATIONS:

*Provide friendly, professional, personal service to all members.

*Meet or exceed sales referral goals.

*Be able to work a flexible schedule and on Saturdays.

*Process transactions with no more than 2 posting errors per month.

*Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

*A high school education or GED.

*Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.

*Must have experience with computers and ten key calculators.

*Must be detailed oriented with numbers and names.
