Medical Equipment Delivery Driver/Technician

Description SIZEWise Rentals is seeking a medical equipment delivery driver, technician, and educator to fill an Account Associate position at their Iowa City, IA site.
Job responsibilities for SIZEWise account associates include:

Providing total customer service to hospitals and other healthcare facilities including:

Medical equipment delivery
Installation and/or removal of medical equipment
Preventative maintenance
Bariatric medical equipment product education

Maintaining the highest possible standards regarding health and safety.

Understanding and following the healthcare facilities’ policies and procedures.

Operating and maintaining a SIZEWise Rentals box truck.

Delivering and transferring durable medical equipment to other SIZEWise Rentals sites as needed.

SIZEWise Rentals is a fun, fast paced growing nation-wide company in the business of distributing bariatric medical equipment to hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Bariatric equipment is defined as being specifically designed for patients over 350 pounds.

Requirements Must have a valid driver’s license

Must have a clean driving record (Mandatory)

Must be able to drive at night

Must have clean background check (No Priors)

Must pass DOT Physical and Drug Screen

Availability to work some overtime when scheduled

Ability to push 450 pounds of durable medical equipment up ramps, and to load and unload equipment onto trucks on a daily basis.

Ability to use a computer to complete the SIZEWise Rentals Online University training.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
