Riverside County’s Medical Assignment Program (MAP) offers a variety of staffing alternatives for the placement of qualified medical personnel at Mental Health, Riverside County Regional Medical Center, and Public Health Departments. Offering temporary or per diem assignments that will exceed your expectations, our in-house Medical Assignment Program allows healthcare professionals to work in a variety of settings with scheduling options that fit anyone’s active lifestyle. An assignment now exists on the County’s MAP team for:

Pharmacy Technician - $14.84 per hour

Pharmacy Technician II – Per Diem assists in the preparation, distribution and clerical processing of new prescriptions and/or medication orders at Riverside County pharmacies.

Skills & License Requirements Include:

• Training accredited by the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists
• possession of a valid Pharmacy Technician certificate issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy
• Knowledge of proper storage and security procedures used in working with pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical and medical terminology, and Medi-Cal/MIA laws.
• Understand and follow oral and written instruction
• Read and interpret prescriptions from physician's orders
