Full Time Nursing Faculty - North Hollywood Campus

West Coast University (WCU)has a long tradition of helping people succeed, and we are currently seeking Full Time Instructors for our Los Angeles campus. Reporting to the Dean of Nursing, this is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing school as we build a unique and new Bachelor and Associate Degree Nursing program.

We are currently seeking Full-Time, Classroom and Clinical Instructor in the following areas:

Pediatric / Psych / Advance Med Surg

Responsibilities of RN Faculty Includes :

Under the general supervision of the Dean of Nursing delivers class and/or clinical instruction according to an approved course syllabus using accepted and effective teaching methods.
Develops daily lesson plans; advises and tutors students.  Maintains current and accurate attendance and grade records.  Remains current in applicable program teaching fields.
Participates in faculty meetings, instructional seminars and in-service training sessions. Participates in school activities such as faculty meetings, student functions, graduation exercises, open houses, new student orientations, and advisory board meetings.

• Possess a Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

• Current State of California RN License.
• Min of 5 years clinical experience with previous Teaching exp. desired
• Board of Registered Nursing instructor approval required.
