Job Responsibilities:
Position: IT SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN
Location: Cocoa Beach FL (Patrick AFB)
Clearance required: Active Top Secret with SCI level access
Seeking an mid level IT Systems Technician.
Position responsibilities include:
Storage Area Network (SAN) Tier 1 Support.
Monitor the health of the storage network to include all server connections, capacity statistics and the status of scheduled backup jobs.
Perform incident reporting to the Storage Engineer for resolution.
Additionally this individual is responsible for the coordination of data migration for end users.
Please note: Position requires an Active Top Secret Security clearance with SCI level access TS/SCI

Required Education:
Requires BS/BA degree.
VERY IMPORTANT: Candidates must have 5 years IT experience with an industry recognized certification
Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in computer related field (along with minimum of 2 years of relevant Windows Server administration).
Required Work Experience:
Requires 0-2 years experience.
Hands on experience performing administration, configuration, maintenance of IT Hardware (Servers, Computers) and Software. Should be able to answer questions relating to these areas with ease.
Network/domain security experience, including firewalls, policies and best practices, including configuration and administration of Symantec Enterprise AntiVirus.
Prefer someone with strong knowledge of Windows 2003 Active Directory configuration and administration, Exchange 2003 and SMS 2003.
Industry recognized Certification required for position consideration.
Advanced knowledge of network architecture design and planning is preferred.
