Description
POLICE OFFICER The City of Newark, Delaware, a professionally managed, growing university community, is accepting applications from qualified individuals for the position of police officer. Applications will be accepted from October 26 - November 30, 2009. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, possess an Associate's degree or its equivalent, have a valid driver's license with no recent suspensions, have no felony convictions, meet physical requirements and be a U.S. citizen. Applicants must also be certifed as a police officer with preference given for certification as a police officer in Delaware. This is a rewarding career opportunity which offers an excellent salary and fringe benefit program. Salary range for this position is $44,761 to $58,290 with possibility for rapid advancement.
