Senior Sales Representative

Description The SLS Senior Sales Representative will sell lighting maintenance, relamp and retrofit programs to end user facility maintenance engineers, energy managers and purchasing professionals.

Primary sales focus on selling interior and exterior turn key lighting service and energy management programs to retail chains, DC's and Commercial office buildings. Other key segments include banks, energy service companies and industrials.

Promote and sell new fluorescent and HID lighting products and systems including System 60, T5 Pentron HO and Pulse Start.

Partner with other OSI channels to build on existing end user relationships and uncover new business opportunities.

This is an end user direct sales position with an average selling cycle of 6 - 9 months.

Due to long selling cycle, applicants must demonstrate capability to work numerous end user buying influences with patience and determination to close the sale.

Requirements Job requires independent results-driven individual.

Bachelors degree required (engineering or business related field most desirable).

5+ years related work experience.

Experience in the industrial commercial market, lighting services or energy management industry is highly desirable.

Direct end user sales experience is a plus.

Knowledge of lamps ballasts, fixtures and other lighting energy management products is a plus.

Strong interpersonal skills to work with internal and external industry partners.
